1000+ ways of global change || Caracicatriz

Have you ever had the feeling, walking alone down the street, that you should do something to improve the world you’re living in? Have you ever wanted to stop a man, in the middle of the street, and say „dude, you’re doing it wrong!” ?I did…but I never had the courage.

I’m sure that most people would like to see some changes in the world but also, these people are sometimes to busy or to lazy to start doing themselfs something good for the humankind. And that is because they think it takes very much power to be able to do it. Maybe true. But the thing they aren’t aware of is that nobody gives you the power, you just take it!

First of all, I would like to emphasize the most important thing that people should change: the way they see themselfs, meaning the way in which they think people see them. It is very important, because when you are not confident and you say „I won’t do this because I can’t”, you will just go with the flow and wake up in 20 years thinkin’: „I should have done it…”, but it will be too late.

Negative beliefs are like a car’s handbrake. Having a negative belief is like wanting to get to your destination with the handbrake pulled. It will always pull you back. But a positive belief will push you from the back and help you reach your goal. Changing our negative beliefs with positive ones, will definitely improve our lives.

Secondly, we, people, are strange creatures. We love emotions, but we don’t know how to control them.

Have you ever wondered how we, humans, associate the problematic situations with pain? How come everytime something bad happens with us, we automatically tend to suffer?

Well, there’s this thing called „fear”. That tendency to suffer comes, not because of the problem itself, but because of the fear we have that we are not able to solve it. For example, suffering doesn’t show up when somebody steals your wallet, but when you think you will not recover it; fear doesn’t apear immediately when you girlfriend / boyfriend leaves you, but when you think that you will never be that happy again. The event itself does not hurt us, it’s just what we think about that event.

How would it be, if you could go through any event, with peace and calm, with an emotional state that helps you get the right decisions, and not block any sense of reason? If we could control our emotions, we wouldn’t make so many mistakes.

I think one of the greatest illusions of our lives is that our emotions are dependent on the surrounding events… and it’s wrong. The events around us “suggest” certain emotions. Depends on us if we accept them or change them with others.

So, only after you are able to control your feelings, your emotions, you could easily edit your behaviors and this will eventually change the events around you.

When you look around you, with eyes of joy or sorrow, which you know they can change in a second, you should have a different view of life. That means personal development: feeling like another person, feeling like you’ve changed the way of thinking.

In the end, the thing I’m trying to say is : „Dude, you’re doing it wrong!”.
