Mihai's Back

Yes ! It's not a joke, not a prank, it's true. Your lovely member Negru Mihai who went in Italy for an three months internship is now back. I arrived in Galatzi, Saturday at 11 a.m and after some hours of accommodation I went to "Photo Challenge" and I had a lot of fun.

What can I say about my internship ? It was something unique that I can't really explain in a few words. I had a lot of work but in the same time a lot of fun. I visited other countries like England, Spain, Croatia and Slovenia. In Croatia I had the chance to meet a lot of people from all over Europe at ISP (International Summer Program) and to increase my number of international contacts and I've been designated "the most valuable delegate of the conference" because of my pro activity and involvement in the conference. It was great to be appreciated and respected for that.

This is one little story in one novel that I can't write on a blog. I have to tell it to. What I can say more, that during all my internship I always thought about my team, AIESEC Galati. Missed you guys.

Photo Challenge August 2007

2 teams, 3 cameras, 31 photo tasks and 1 challenge: arrive on time!!! This challenge had the power of a team building; we forgot about the high temperatures, drank a lot of water, ran and had a lot of fun. For those who missed it,don't worry... there's another edition in November.
Here are some of the nicest photos, enjoy them!

Photo Challenge - teams, photos, fun

Although AIESEC Galati is now in a short holiday, its members cannot stay appart from each other.
We left behind the AIESEC work, projects, conferences and other activities .....but just for a week- so it is supposed to be-....and we decided to have fun and recharge our batteries. So, here we are...so close to the summer adventure: Photo Challenge 2007. This activity will take place on Saturday, 25 August; we will meet in the Public Garden at 16.30.
!!!!!!! Guys, do not forget to dress comfortable, to bring your cameras and your good joy and humour.
If you have any questions regarding the activities, ask me.
See u tomorrow!

PS. If you wonder what is with these pictures, you should know that they were taken at a similar competition in 2004. But starting with next week, YOUR funny photos will be here. :))

Full members meetings 16.08 & 17.08

hey people !!

Before the vacation we had two lovely full members meetings....(we have new full members , so let's put them to work ;P) ...Feel free to join us any time!

...are you ready? ...Here we go

16.08-1st meeting

1. AIESEC Galati legal status

The full members all voted for the new Status and now there are still a couple of formalities to be done and we will be finally legal ...Yupiiii!

The status includs capters as:

Cap 1 - Name,Nature, location of the office

Cap 2- Our purpose and objectives

Cap 3- Patrimony

Cap 4 - Our members

Cap 5 - Management , administration and control

Cap 6- Financial management

Cap 7 - Final dispositions

2. X departments

We had a great challenge here ...What shall we do ? Align with AIESEC international and make a soul X department or continue with two X departments untill our Lc will be ready to face this change..... the deliberations were hard....but we finally cane to a conclusion and that is ....(drums).......For the term '08-'09 we will have :

ICX& OGX.

3. Reserves fund

We all want to have money saved up for 'dark days'...A reserve fund is ment for one of those situations. It is a fund that we can only touch in critical situations, such as legal issues.

To make sure that it is only ment for emergencies the number of persons that can acces it is limited : 2 alumni, former LCP, current LCP, current VP Fin, and to be able to redraw money we need to have the signature of at least 3 persons.

We decided that a certain percentage from all of our incomes to go to this reserve fund.....Soon we'll have a legacy to leave you all :)

17.08...ROI meeting

ROI- Internal Order Rules/ Regulament de Ordine interioara.

We changed the articold that were no longer valid , such as the full memebers that sign the ROI ( we like our names to appear everywhere :P). Now seriously there were changes made regarding the rights and obligations of all the categories of members, about recruitment procedures, conferences, transition, VP's responsabilities, Voting, ......

If you want to know more ...it will all be on the community of AIESEC GALATI....just search it!

If you want to change something ...just become a FULL Member(see you in december :D)

Enough with the 'boring stuff'

...the one and only eLeNA

Sharing Session

Stelutza
Iema and the other trainees from the
PBox, in Ljubljana

Stelutza and some members of AIESEC Trieste

Stelutza and our Dutch trainees :)

Iema in Salzburg train station

Iema and some of the kids from the school she used to work at

Hi there!

Last week (Thursday) took place in our office the sharing session with Iema and Stiuli. These two girls were in eXchange this year and they wanted to share us some memories and thoughts about their eXperiences in Italy (Stiuli) and Slovenia (Iema). Miss Stiuli was VP X in AIESEC Trieste for 5 months (including an internship at the university) and Iema participated at a PBOX (Project based on X) that lasted 2 months, with a girl from Columbia, two girls from India and a boy from Turkye.

Steluta showed us pictures from her leadership eXperience abroad, from CREA, an italian non-AIESEC conference where she was an OC and from Netherlands, where she met the boys that Stiuli matched once upon a time with AIESEC Galati (Marcel, Hielko, Ronald, Maarten and Pieter). :)

Also Iema showed us the beautiful landscapes from Kranj, pictures with the 9 (!!!) Global Villages were she took part and cooked "aricei" for the visitors, with her visits in Italy and Austria and shared her opinion about the work that she has done with the kids from there.

I hope that you enjoyed your internships there, had a good time and learned new things.

Thank you for your participation at the sharing session!

Warm hug,
Codi
P.S.: Viorel's (Nigeria) sharing session will take place soon. Stay tuned. ;)
