Viorica went in eXchange in Izmir

And she's gone in Izmir, Turkey for 2 months in the eXchange program that we do ... Her name is Viorica Braila and she's an AIESEC member from October 2006. She wanted to do more in this organization and that's why Vio was also Matching Responsible on the OGX department.

Her eXchange participant ID is SN-In-RO-GL-2007-1317 and the company where she'll work is ARKAS SHIPPING&TRANSPORT S.A (TN-In-TR-IZ-2007-1624). Vio's field of work will be marketing and she will be responsible for increasing the efficiency between some international agencies from Greece, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria and Germany in this company.

Vio left Galati yesterday and we went to the train station with her. There were also her mom and her brother.

Member Of The Month

At the beginning was just an initiative, but from April 2005 AIESEC Galati recognize every month the most active member from organization.

This time Cristina Dogaru aka "Leadership" was recognize as member of the month, she was OCP Local Planning Meeting 2007 and is an active member on People Development.

Attitude, initiative, responsibility, that’s what members need to receive the title "Member of the month".

Today, at about 7 am our trainee from Turkey, Ezgi arrived in Galati! She is going to work at "Salvati Copiii" NGO for 8 weeks.

As a nice coincidence, she is from Izmir. When I was in traineeship in Slovenia, almost a month ago I had a room mate from Izmir - Tandy; and of course, Tandy and Ezgi know each other, so I knew she will be coming to Galati when I was still in Slovenia!

It's amazing how AIESEC makes the world so little :)

While we were at LPM 2 of our trainees arrived in the LC: Kismet from Egipt, and Nadiah from UK. They are going to work in 2 NGOs: "Impreuna" and "Casa Noastra"
